South Park: The Stick of Truth
Area creation for this project followed an unorthodox process. Scenes first began life in coordinated concept sessions between artists and designers, with artists primarily sketching out layouts, which served as gameplay blockouts.
I worked in Flash Pro to embed the timeline-based data needed to allow the 2D art to interact with our gameplay systems. Gameplay iteration and finalization then occurred in a proprietary toolset.
I managed the critical path "spine" of the game and worked on a broad swath of areas.

I also did the initial design of the "Mr. Slave's Ass" level with help from of one of our artists. It was notable at the time for easily passing its review with series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who were pleased with its level of depravity.
It was further iterated upon and brought to completion by another designer, ensuring that this dubious contribution to human culture would see the light of day.
